Emergency Drill Exercise
When to use this template?
For conducting of emergency drill exercise twice a year, i.e. fire drill and lockdown drill.
For quick taking of attendance of students on a digital name list even in a case of a real emergency.
For school management to track students who require support.
Step 1: Use the template in FlexiList and download as an Excel sheet
Add students to the template as per the classes / level required for the emergency exercise. You may consider adding the whole level or even whole school of students to this list.
Download as Excel sheet and update the Excel template for your emergency exercise.
Tip: To avoid lag when using lists with a large number of students during emergency exercises, consider dividing the list by levels. For instance:
Secondary 1: 4 Aug Emergency Drill List
Secondary 2: 4 Aug Emergency Drill List
Step 2: Login to SC mobile > FlexiList > Import from Excel
Once you have updated the Excel sheet with the necessary information, upload it into FlexiList with the feature 'Import from Excel'.
Step 3: Add additional columns as dropdown options to include the status of the students you would like to keep track of
Examples that schools use are:
Missing
Need care support
Injured
Step 4: Add whole school as collaborators and teachers can mark attendance for the students wherever they are!
Step 4: Teachers may use the filter function to mark attendance / status for the students they are currently with
Step 5: Teachers may use the search function to look for the students they are specifically searching for
Step 6: School management can use the filter function on the status to see live updates from teachers
This allows the school emergency team to react quickly to provide support / assistance to students who require them.
